Installing Serenade in MacOs 10.12 Sierra.
The normal installation procedure in OSX is to open the downloaded .dmg file, drag the included folder to your applications folder en start the Serenade app from within its folder in the applications folder.
Due to a change in the security system in Sierra you will get the following error: "Serenade cannot be opened because of a problem".
You can start Serenade only from the Terminal (find the Terminal app in the Applications folder).
Type or copy and paste the following line in the Terminal window to start the demo:
/Applications/Serenade\ v5.1\ Demo/serenade.app/Contents/MacOS/serenade
Or to start the full version:
To make this easier, download the file serenadestart.dmg and drag the included files Serenade5demo and Serenade5 to the Desktop folder.
You can now start Serenade by double clicking on the corresponding icon on the desktop.
Always quit Serenade before you quit the Terminal, quiting the Terminal first wil also end Serenade but will not do the finishing actions like saving your settings.
If you already installed Serenade in a previous version of OSX and then upgraded to Sierra, then you can keep starting Serenade like you used to do before Sierra.
